1.1. What is ANSED Exhaust Gas Diagnostics?
ANSED Exhaust Gas Diagnostics is a unique software package. Upon input of the measured and calculated values from a Gas Analyzer, it will produce a diagnosis to help the technician identify and solve problems fast and effectively.
1.2. What do I get for my license subscription?
Every ANSED software license sold includes a one (1) year license for use, access to all updates during the 12-month license period, instructional training of the program and the ability to store all test reports.
1.3. What is licensed software?
Licensed software is not purchased, but rather leased for a limited time period. For ANSED, that time period is one (1) year from date of activation. After that time, the software will no longer function, unless the user renews the license subscription. The ANSED Exhaust Gas Diagnostics is fully owned by ANSED Software LLC.
By licensing the software, ANSED can continue to maintain and improve the software over time, utilizing new technologies in software and incorporating changes that are made to emissions control, and the engine and exhaust systems.
1.4. What are system requirements to run ANSED?
To use ANSED software you will need the following:
- An internet connection, at least 512k, although we recommend a minimum of 1 MB
- A web browser. The following browsers* are supported (or newer versions):
- Internet© Explorer version 9
1.5. Will the software have updates?
ANSED updates are available from time to time, and are free to the license holder during the 12-month license period. Updates may include additional algorithms, updates to reference encyclopedia, corrections of any possible software glitches or errors that may be identified through extensive use, and any new features.
1.6. How do I extend my license subscription?
Prior to the end of your subscription, the ANSED software will advise you and remind you that the software will be expiring. ANSED will automatically charge the annual subscription fee to provide continued access to the software.
